Our Story

Preserve2day Empowerment was founded in 2025 with one clear mission: to walk alongside disadvantaged individuals and at-risk-seniors during life’s most difficult seasons—offering guidance, advocacy, and hope when it is needed most.

Our organization was birthed from lived experience. Founder and Executive Director, Louisa Covington, a proud native of Union County, North Carolina, understands firsthand the challenges of navigating government systems and community resources while waiting for assistance. She knows what it feels like to face uncertainty, to search for answers, and to need someone who truly understands.

What began as a personal journey rooted in faith has grown into a calling to serve. Louisa’s experiences shaped a deep commitment to ensuring that no individual feels overlooked, unheard, or unsupported. Through Preserve2day Empowerment, she has created a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to advocating for individuals with compassion, dignity, and purpose.

We believe that access to accurate information, compassionate guidance, and strong advocacy can transform outcomes. Our goal is not simply to provide assistance and guidance to empower individuals to make well-informed decisions that lead to lasting stability and improved quality of life.

At Preserve2day Empowerment, we preserve dignity.

We restore hope.
We extend compassion.
And we serve according to God’s will.

Together, we strive to build stronger individuals and their caregivers' one empowered decision at a time.
